About The Collection:
We're teaming up with artists in the color lash community to collaborate on personalized, limited edition color collections. The colors and design of these collections tell the story of the creator; their personality, and the unique take that they have on the lash industry. The MesmerEyes Collection by Cari @lykkelash is the first collection in our Creator Series.
We met Cari back in 2023 at the @lashbashofficial Halloween party in Portland, OR when she approached Dana to introduce herself and tell her how much she had been loving the Black Cherry FEATHER.tip .07 lashes. It was one of her go-to colors for a special technique she'd been developing; The MesmerEyes Method. Using rich colors like Black Cherry, Cari would strategically layer color lashes behind black or brown lashes on her clients to give them a subtle hue of color that harmonized with their unique coloring and made their eyes sparkle.
The goal of The MesmerEyes Method is not for people to notice her clients' lashes first, but rather the radiance of their eye color and overall appearance which is enhanced by the subtle flecks of color in their lashes. She analyzes her clients undertone, overtone, and value to determine which color to work into their lashes.
After a few months of friendship, Cari and Dana started working together on The Lash Ritual's first ever Creator Series: The MesmerEyes Collection. A curated palette of rich tones that works perfectly with Cari's technique.
Using Black Cherry FEATHER.tip .07 and Eggplant MEGA.matte .05 as the driving inspiration (the lashes Cari used in her viral "Cherry Cola" and "Heartbreaker" sets) Cari merged the two tones together to create the ultimate deep pink shade: Dahlia MEGA.matte .05.
Next, Cari analyzed The Lash Ritual's Deep Navy MEGA.matte .05, another color in her rotation for MesmerEyes sets. She loved the way this color looked in direct sunlight, radiating the perfect sapphire blue that made her clients' brown eyes sparkle. Cari pinpointed that exact hue, and created Starlight MEGA.matte .05.
Finally, with hazel eyed clients in mind, Cari set out on perfecting a "pacific northwest" forrest green: Juniper MEGA.matte .05.

“Hi, I’m Cari and I’m the creator of the MesmerEyes Method. I am from Astoria, Oregon which is a small town off the coast. I own a salon studio called Lykke Co.
When I’m not lashing, you’ll find me hanging out with my husband and our 5 animals, at a sushi or Mexican restaurant, at the beach, driving around in some vintage rig or hanging out with loved ones. Just like my love for all things vintage, I have a knack for taking something timeless and classic and putting my own spin on it. And that’s exactly what the MesmerEyes method is; a combo of traditional and color lashing but in an entirely new way that hasn’t been done before.
I love the lash industry with all of my heart and I want to help make lasting change that inspires lash artists to do what they love, in their own unique way.”
